Private Day Tour of Wicklow and Glendalough

Jay (Janine) was AMAZING! I would book her again 1000% . She was so nice and knowledgeable we were so happy we used toursbylocals.com. We have been on many tours (Disney Included) and have never had anyone as good as her. I feel that we learned so much during her tour and she was so accommodating to our specific needs. We hit it off so well I plan to keep in touch with her going forward. I can’t stress enough that anyone that books her is going to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Jay was an amazing guide. Extremely personable, knowledgeable about Irish history and culture, and an overall extraordinary person to guide us for a day. She had an itinerary all planned but was flexible enough to pivot and take us to a sheep farm when my wife saw a sign for it. We had wonderful conversation and a perfect lunch. We can’t recommend Jay highly enough.

We had the BEST day out with Janine! During our trip, the Tours By Locals website went down for "upgrades", but luckily we were able to communicate directly! The tour was tailored to what our interests were and because it was very wet that day, we skipped one stop and spent more time walking in Glendalough when the weather was holding off. Janine's knowledge of Wicklow (and Ireland!) helped bring it alive. She was so friendly and very easy to talk with! Highly recommend - we're already planning our next trip!

Janine was the best! She had the route planned out in detail and perfectly guided us with history and great stories along the way! She was kind, funny, and someone we’d love as a friend. She even found my wife some vegetables for lunch! Would love another tour with her.
