Newgrange & Boyne Valley Tour

In light of a rainy and windy day, Barry suggested good adjustments to our itinerary and our day was terrific! Barry provided umbrellas and door to door service, avoiding some of the rain. First stop was Malahide Castle where Barry guided us to the butterfly house and some views of the rainy gardens. He had pre-arranged tickets for the tour, and we had an easy and fun tour of the Castle. We stopped at a good place for lunch, and then moved on to Newgrange. Barry guided us through the preliminary displays and got us to the shuttle bus right in time for our tour appointment, then picked us up at the end. At the end of the day Barry not only chauffeured us to our hotel, but also to our evening dinner location. Barry is very friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. Comfortable car, too! Thank you, Barry, for making our day outside of Dublin exceptional.

Barry our local guide was amazing 👏! He was extremely well-versed, considerate and very flexible. He adapted to our needs and went above and beyond to provide superior customer service. This was our second tour with Barry in his luxury car and we would do it again. He'll take you off the beaten path where every body really does know his name because he truly is local.

We spent a delightful day with Barry touring Newgrange and Trim Castle. Barry picked us up promptly at our hotel at the agreed upon time and proceeded to outline the day for us. He is knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating - all you could ask for in a tour guide. Barry made our trip to Newgrange and the Boyne Valley delightful. Prior to the trip he gave us instructions for the purchase of tickets to Newgrange and Knowth, which was very helpful.
