I've been doing private tours of Ireland in my fresh luxury MPV for over 8 years now (Up to 6 persons per tour). I worked many years in the Food and Drink industries in various sales management roles before eventually been brave enough to set up my own adventure within the tourism sector. I'm a major sports fan and in particular for our own national game 'Gaelic Football' which I played for many years and have coached at senior level. I'm extremely passionate about Irish History, Heritage and Culture and my tours really give you an insight into the real Emerald Isle. Enjoy the Full Irish Experience all in one day. Whether it's viewing the famous Book of Kells at Trinity College, sampling Traditional Irish Music, learning about our Gaelic Games or tasting Guinness in the famous Guinness Storehouse we have it all covered in this unique amazing one day tour. We take you to the home of Gaelic Football Ireland's national and most popular game at Croke Park Stadium. Explore the fascinating GAA Museum OR take a stadium tour and walk in the footsteps of GAA legends. We then take you to the famous Trinity College with the opportunity to view the Book of Kells. Lunch is served in Irelands oldest pub. After lunch, we travel to Ireland's most visited tourist attraction the Guinness Storehouse. Enjoy a magical tour and a pint of perfection in the world famous rooftop Gravity Bar. We then travel to the wonderful atmosphere of Dublin's famous cobbled stone street. Here 'the craic' is mighty. Enjoy Traditional Irish Music in one of the many pubs or simply sample an Irish craft beer.
Barry was fantastic. He gave us all the insights to Gaelic football and the GAA, pointed out interesting details through Dublin and made sure we were on time with great craic at each stop. Went above and beyond and catered to anything we wanted to do. Great day!
Barry did an excellent job of designing a day trip that allowed us to see some unique sights outside the crowds of Dublin. My husband enjoyed the photography opportunities and we were very appreciative that Barry got us back to our Cruise Ship safe and sound. We would highly recommend Barry for others looking to explore Dublin!
Barry was courteous,professional and on time. weather was very "iffy" because of hurricane Lorenzo. This is one of the best tours we ever had. I'm always concerned when we travel that my 15 year old son won't enjoy the tour as much as my husband and I. Well, Barry our tour guide made this day amazing. He was knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate our every request. If you ever go to Ireland Barry is the guide you should use.
We only had 1 day in Dublin & we booked toursbylocals and used Barry for our guide. He is the best tour guide I have had. He customized our day in Dublin to everything we asked for & then exceeded all expectations. He personalized the day with his own life's experiences which provided a very personal connection. I didn't think that starting the tour at a football stadium was going to be interesting. What an eye opener. Finding that football and hurling were part of the fight for Irish Independence was amazing. Barry did a great job and we had a wonderful tour. Erin Go Braugh!
