Private Guide-Tour Operator- Licenced Professional Driver. I have lived in Dublin all my adult life, ie 40 years. I was educated here and worked here all that time. I have a detailed knowledge of the history, geography and culture of the city and its environment. I am a fully badged Irish Tourist Board (Failte Ireland) approved Tour Guide, a National Tourist Guide. I have years of experience as a hillwalking leader in and around the city and the Dublin and Wicklow mountains (including the Wicklow Way). I have been guiding in various forms in Dublin and its environs for many years simply because I love it. I have completed every state course available in tour guiding but having worked in every nook and cranny of this city and coutry for a lifetime I feel that my passion for it will speak volumes for my ability to portray it to you in private tours. October 2012 I successfully completed a Certificate Course in Tour Guiding with Failte Ireland, The Irish Tourist Board. In July 2013 I successfully completed a National Tourist Guide Badge Course with Failte Ireland. I have a taxi licence (SPSV) and a D1 minibus licence to carry up to 16 people. Fully insured Tour Operator. Commencing May 2015 I am licenced to drive up to 16 people in a small to medium vehicle up to a minibus. Tours in English only.

I am a born and bred Dubliner and I have been roaming these historic street for 60 years. See Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Gaol, St Patricks Cathedral and the Phoeinix Park and the Guinness Storehouse. See where the Vikings first landed and created a town settlement and where the Anglo Normans developed the port.
Your Dublin tour itinerary
This tour is designed to fit with guests requirements for a centre city tour. I will bring folks to all of the essential sites in the city as far as that is possible within the timeframe. The idea is to familiarise guests with all of these sites. - You will be picked up from your cruise ship or hotel or a venue suitable to you in Dublin and dropped back at the end to your chosen venue. - In between you will be driven all around the city (and outside it if required) and you will be shown all the essential sites to visit. There may be time to do one or two of the internal sites like the Book of Kells at Trinity College or any of the many other attractions. I can bring you on my own personal tour of St Patrick's Cathedral, Irelands national cathedral. In the Phoenix Park, the largest walled park in Europe, I can bring you to see wild deer in their natural habitat. Also in the park is the Pope's Cross where Pope John Paul II said Mass in front of a million people. Customization possible.
