Overview of your Dublin tour

"Dublin can be heaven with Coffee at Eleven and a stroll down Grafton Street" This song was made famous by Irish actor Noel Purcell and it is sung with happiness as you stroll through the streets of Dublin. An 8 hour tour with one of Ireland's premier national guide. The distances are not long but it is a very enjoyable scenic relaxing tour. See Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Gaol, St Patricks Cathedral, the Phoenix Park and the Guinness Storehouse. Moving on to the historic area's of interest in the Dublin region I will arrange various visit' to encompass the Irish Civil War / Foundation of the State / 1916 Rebellion. See where the Vikings first landed and created a town settlement and where the Anglo-Normans developed the medieval city. See the exact places where Irish rebels fought and died to free our country. Areas of interest are the two principal cathedrals of Dublin dating from the 11th and 12th centuries, St Patricks and Christ Church Cathedral and our national park.

Gregory was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide. Was solicitous in helping us in and out of car (we are pretty old and not as mobile as we once were). Had intelligent responses to questions and admitted it when he didn't know something. Would highly recommend him.

We enjoyed our day in Dublin with Gregory. He picked us up in Dun Loaghaire and drove us to the city center and Phoenix Park, Trinity College, Temple Bar, Ha'Penny Bridge and more. Of course we visited Guiness with its panoramic view of Dublin from the 7th floor and Jameson for whisky tasting. Gregory is so knowledgeable about the history of Dublin, we wish we could have spent more time with him. The day was over so quickly! We highly recommend Gregory, thank you for the beautiful day in Dublin!

Gregory met everyone of our group of six expectations. He was very happy to meet the wishes of our group as they sometimes were not what the tour was going to include. And his choice of our pub/restaurant for lunch was very outstanding. And we now have a very detailed understanding of the history of Ireland. If you have a group of folks, request Gregory!!!
