Private Guide-Tour Operator- Licenced Professional Driver. I have lived in Dublin all my adult life, ie 40 years. I was educated here and worked here all that time. I have a detailed knowledge of the history, geography and culture of the city and its environment. I am a fully badged Irish Tourist Board (Failte Ireland) approved Tour Guide, a National Tourist Guide. I have years of experience as a hillwalking leader in and around the city and the Dublin and Wicklow mountains (including the Wicklow Way). I have been guiding in various forms in Dublin and its environs for many years simply because I love it. I have completed every state course available in tour guiding but having worked in every nook and cranny of this city and coutry for a lifetime I feel that my passion for it will speak volumes for my ability to portray it to you in private tours. October 2012 I successfully completed a Certificate Course in Tour Guiding with Failte Ireland, The Irish Tourist Board. In July 2013 I successfully completed a National Tourist Guide Badge Course with Failte Ireland. I have a taxi licence (SPSV) and a D1 minibus licence to carry up to 16 people. Fully insured Tour Operator. Commencing May 2015 I am licenced to drive up to 16 people in a small to medium vehicle up to a minibus. Tours in English only.

This is a day tour intended for those with limited time in Dublin and who want to familiarise themselves with the principal sites in the city center. You will also have the chance to travel south out of the city into the spectacularly scenic Wicklow Mountain National Park. Early Christian Glendalough/Powerscourt House and Gardens rated number 3 in the world by National Geographic. Alternatively, we can travel north to the Boyne Valley (5, 500 yr old Newgrange Passage Tombs), Monasterboice and much much more. As a boy more than 50 years ago my father often brought me to County Wicklow (the Garden County) which is just south of Dublin. We would hike and cycle across many of the tracks and trails of this beautiful county. It is packed with mountains, rivers and lakes.
Sean was amazing! From pick up to drop off, Sean gave us a wonderful tour of Dublin and surrounding areas. He was clearly very knowledgeable about Irish history and shared lots of great information. He was always conscious of our needs. He is a tru gentleman and made us want to return to Ireland for a longer visit. Thank you Sean!
Sean, was very accommodating for our customized tour. He was quite knowledgable about the area. Overall it was a very pleasant way to see the sites in and around Dublin.
We were three days in Dublin before a cruise and spent the first and third with Sean Patrick. There were four of us on this the third day. We spent most of the day out of the city enjoying the gorgeous scenery and even had a private demonstration with a farmer and his sheepdogs. We spent a lovely day in the country and Sean P got us back to the cruise port at the time we asked to be dropped off. You won't go wrong touring with Sean.
Sean Patrick was wonderful! For our first time using tours by locals, it exceeded all our expectations . He was very informative , welcoming, and willing to answer all our questions. We got an early start beating all the busy crowds, and saw the beautiful countryside of Dublin. There is no question, if we return to Ireland, we will request Sean Patrick to be our tour guide again!
We had a delightful tour with Sean who is knowledgeable about all things Irish & much more. We toured Dublin as well as the surrounding countryside including the beautiful Powerscourt Estate with its magnificant gardens. It was wonderful day all around.
Sean Patrick is a consumate professional. He possesses vast knowledge about Irish history and the relationship(s) of Irish people past and present to the people of Europe and the United States. We enjoyed our day with Sean immensely and sincerely wished we had more time to spend with him. This tour will include: - A drive to the center of the city. All of Dublin's major sites may be visited. - Then there would be a drive to scenic County Wicklow and the National Park or else north to the Boyne Valley. In Wicklow we can visit the following: .
