My name is Cathy and I am an Irish born and bred tour guide based in our beautiful capital city, Dublin. I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years now and have worked as both a world wide travel manager for a large American company and also as a host and tour guide across Ireland and Europe for the past 8 years. Cathy and I spent the day walking around Dublin.She is very knowledgeable about Irish and Dublin history.Seems like she knew everyone. She showed me everything from bullet holes from 1916 to churches and Trinity College.She is a walking encyclopedia! Tour was at a good pace and we stopped frequently for bathroom breaks and a glass of Guinness for me.I would highly recommend her services.

Your Dublin tour itinerary
This walking tour will begin at our oldest cafe in the city where we will have time to relax over a nice cup of tea and get to know each other and I can give you an overview of Ireland - Our history, population and culture etc before we set off on foot. After our stop here for about 45 minutes, I will take you on a walking tour of south city attractions including Government Buildings, National History Museum, The National Gallery, Trinity College and Central Bank, The Spire and The GPO building (site of our rebellion in 1916) before stopping for a lunch break in a traditional Irish restaurant where you can taste one of our delicious traditional dishes In the afternoon, we will take off on foot again and explore Dublin's cultural hub - Temple Bar then continue on to Viking Dublin taking in Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral on to St. Patrick's Cathedral We will finish our tour at the oldest pub in Dublin where you will have the chance to stay on for an evening meal and live entertainment A fun day out!
