The building was constructed during British rule for trading & tax operations. Next up we'll stop by the Mausoleum of Job Charnock in the St. John's compound. Thereafter, we will visit to the Calcutta High Court, Governor's House, Shaheed Minar [monument] and last but not the least Kolkata's stunning architecture would be incomplete without bringing up Victoria Memorial.
