Day1(9 hrs): Meet & greet at the Hotel as we drive north we will visit a number of villages as Shantipur, known for their silk and cotton hand woven saris, dhotis, jacquards etc of their superfine texture. We will arrive in time for dinner in Baharampur where you will stay at Hotel Jalchabi/Bari kothi Day 2(8Hrs): Morning visit to one of the largest silk thread production cooperatives in India, we will watch silk being extracted from silkworm cocoons and spun into fine thread for weaving. Lunch, and then City tour . Day 3(10 hrs): Morning departure for Shantiniketan, after few hours afternoon visit to some of the textile villages around Shantiniketan, including those known for elaborate batik work and tasar silk weaving. Day 4( 8 hrs): Morning departure Temple city Bishnupur visit to local Baluchari sari weavers, Night stay. Day 5 ( 7 hrs): Morning visit Clay model village & departure back to Kolkata Day 6( 8 hrs) : Kolkata city tour with Lunch followed by a visit to Weaver's studio & Sasha
