Namaste, I am Amar Singh. I was born and raised in Bodhgaya, Bihar India and through me you can get to know my birth place the most authentic and local way. This is said to be the place where Buddha preached and lived for many years of his life. After leaving Rajgir and its refreshing calmness, we are ready for some history at the ruins of beautiful Nalanda. Dip into a bath of history in Nalanda and visit the oldest Buddhist University that has ever existed. More than ten thousand students studied here between impressive buildings and beautiful stupas here during the 5th and 12th centuries. We will also visit the great stupa and the famous Archaeological Museum where ancient relics of Nalanda University are kept. Get ready for this exciting day. -The journey towards Nalanda and Rajgir begins. - On the way to Rajgir, we stop at Gehlaur Village where we will tell you a story - Take a seat on the Rajgir Ropeway and let us slide up to the hills where the famous Shanti Stupa is located. - After this, we will climb up on top of the beautiful Venture's peak and feel the peacefulness above Rajgir. - We invite you for a short meditation on the hill before we move on to Brahma Kund Hot Springs. - After you have absorbed the beauty and calmness of Rajgir we head to Nalanda University for some great Indian history -An awesome day is coming to an end and we slowly move back to Bodhgaya to drop you at your Hotel.
