Your Bodhgaya tour itinerary
Suggested plan: - Day 1 Bodhgaya arrival at Gaya airport. Tour start by evening visit to the Mahabodhi temple. Back to the hotel. - Day 2 Bodhgaya (6hrs) Early morning at 5 am visit Mahabodhi temple for Hour of meditation. Back to your hotel for refreshment and breakfast. Later at 9 am start sightseeing in Bodhgaya. Visit Mahabodhi temple, Shaivite monastery, visit Museum. Lunch break. Afternoon visit to various monasteries, Giant Buddha statue. Evening visit to Mahabodhi temple and chit chat with monk, experience the various rituals and prayers of pilgrims/monks of different countries in the temple complex. Back to the hotel. - Day 3 Bodhgaya (5hrs) After breakfast drive to Dungeshwari hills (10km), also known as Mahakala Caves, is the place where Lord Buddha spent several years before descending to Bodhgaya. Back to Bodhgaya, en route visit Some Hindu temple in Gaya. Later visit Sujata stupa and temple and local market. Drop to Gaya Airport.
