Overview of your Cairo tour

Go off the beaten track on this full-day, private tour to El Fayoum, located 100 kilometers southeast of Cairo, Fayoum is Egypt's biggest oases . Its fascinating and lengthy history dates back to the Roman and Pharaonic eras. The Oasis is well-known for its water wheels, Wadi AL Rayan Protected Area, and Wadi El Hitan (Whale Valley). a UNESCO World Heritage Site Capture Egypt’s highest waterfalls. The fossils found at the site may not be the oldest but their great concentration in the area and the degree of their preservation is such that even some stomach contents are intact. The presence of fossils of other early animals such as sharks, crocodiles, sawfish, turtles and rays found at Wadi El Hitan makes it possible to reconstruct the surrounding environmental and ecological conditions of the time.
