Grand Egyptian GEM Museum Private Tour

Sherine did an exceptional job in making Egyptian come alive, showing us “off the path” sites, and making our day with her an enjoyable and learning experience. Her English is excellent and she is an enjoyable person to be with. We learned about Egyptian history, culture and religion past and present and her explanations were always very interesting and succinct. Highly recommend her.

Our tour was excellent and memorable. Our guide Sherine was so knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions, keeping our attention alive with many details and funny facts about the five thousend history of Egypt. She led us through the museum, which is huge, and helped us to appreciate the most relevant and significant pieces in the collection. She also gave us time on our own to observe the great treasures in front of us. We also had a second tour with her, covering the area of Saqqara and Giza pyramids. Very conveniently, both time she picked us up from our hotel so we did not have to worry about organizing a transportation between the different locations. Her deep knowledge of the sites helped us to concentrate on what was worth to visit and spend time on and, what was not. This tour was fantastic and beyond what we were expecting. Thanks to Sherine, hope to repeat this experience with you in the future!

Sherine was AMAZING in the GEM tour! She was very knowledgeable about the objects and history of all areas of the GEM. She did not rush us, she went through each and every Gallery. While we were there, several people spoke to her and were very complimentary of the other places that she had taken them on their tour. We highly recommend Sherine to you! When we return to Egypt, she will be first on our list to schedule.

We knew we probably needed a guide to help us navigate the new GEM, but didn’t imagine how valuable Sherine would be! She spent almost 6 hours with us and we only skimmed the surface of the HUGE museum! Sherine explained the background, showed us the important examples, and made sure we didn’t miss anything of historical or cultural importance. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly!!
