Nahla led us on a shopping tour through Cairo, at the end of our week-long vacation in Egypt. The tour allowed us to see a unique side of Cairo, as she guided us through different stores including a linen store, a spice store, a cookie store (we bought really unique and delicious cookies to take home!), and a local mall. Nahla was well organized and we recommend her as a tour guide!
Nahla is 5-Star all the way! In about 6 hours, we found everything we were shopping for and then some. Think our money ran out before the tour did. No doubt we helped the local economy. Talk about efficient, knowledgeable and fun to be with. Even when the traffic was at a standstill, Nahla found ways for us to leave the car, purchase the items we wanted, load them in the trunk, get back in the car and move on to the next shopping area, without losing our place in traffic.
The best decision you can make in touring downtown Cairo and to see the sights while shopping. Nahla was incredibly helpful in navigating the area, taking us to the areas we wanted, finding the gifts and shops we wanted, and recommending an itinerary that allowed us to maximize our time in Cairo.
Nahla took us on a private shopping tour. She was friendly and very knowledgeable! We felt comfortable and safe with her! She tailored the tour to what we requested. We would definitely use her again if we come back to Egypt!
Shoppers with Nahla was a wonderful way to get to know more about Cairo and Egyptian culture. Even if you don't buy anything—you will enjoy the day seeing the skilled craftsmen working in gold, essential oils, textiles, carpets and papyrus. Nahla makes sure that you only go to places selling real Egyptian products. Every craftsman has a story to tell. Lunch was also fabulous!
We booked Nahla for 6 days and loved her flexibility. I gave her a list of sites I wanted to see and we saw as many as humanly possible. She even helped me get a discount on my souvenir necklace! Nahla uses a private professional driver which means that you can see and do whatever works best for you. We were picked up, on time, at our apartment everyday. Cairo traffic is mind-blowing, but her driver made the trips exciting and (most importantly) safe (the van had air conditioning and working seat-belts).
