Hello, my name is Moustafa, I am an English speaking tour guide, professional Egyptologist, graduated from faculty of archaeology, Egyptology section, Cairo university, ( not easy to join this faculty, since Egypt recently interested to raise a new generation of archaeologists to excavate, dig, and write about ancient Egypt. Honestly, Am looking for those, who want to learn about Ancient Egypt, how they lived, acted, their society..., together we mix both history we know with the new research and the new excavations. I will provide the new research, the new and different theories according to the SCAN projects, diggings and the new excavations. I finished my Masters in Egyptology, doing my PHD now, reading & writing ancient Egyptian languages (Hyroglyph+ Demotic + Heratic +Coptic). Furthermore, in the summertime, I work at various archaeological digs and I teach students in my faculty, the Egyptology, the Hieroglyphs, and how to dig. I Finished my Masters Degree, and about to finish my PHD soon. Member of the Supreme council of digging in Sakkara & Dahshour. New York Times has chosen Alexandria many times as a recommended city to visit. I love this city since I was a child because my family used to spend the summertime there. The catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, is one of many good sites to visit, 1800 yers old, Pompey's pillar with Serapium temple with the new excavations. The new library has over 600, 000 books, it is the largest in the Middle East. The Roman amphitheatre is an amazing place where we will see some of the underwater artefacts from Cleopatra city. I myself have been involved in recent underwater new excavations in Alexandria. Surely you will love the citadel from outside where the lighthouse was there long time ago. Driving along the Mediterranean just gives an exciting feeling, especially in the Greek and the Italian districts. There is difference between life in Alexandria and anywhere else, we can find it out there.
The tour was excellent - Moustafa provided an interesting archeological perspective as well as commentary about the sights themselves. Moustafa also tailored the tour to my interests, including a comprehensive tour of the Graeco Roman Museum (which that wasn’t on the original itinerary) with ample free time.

Had a wonderful day-trip to Alexandria where private and comfortable transportation was organized for us, we had a pleasant 2-2,5h drive and explored the city including the modern library, the catacombs and the roman theater. After a lovely lunch break at a nice restaurant called Fish Marked with views over the seaside and Corniche, Moustafa showed us the local way of living and gave us a good insight in the culture and traditions. Afterwards we drove back to Cairo and were safely dropped off at our hotel again. We would recommend Moustafa to guide you through Alexandria or any other sightseeing in Egypt anytime. Thank you so much! It was a long day but we had fun and enjoyed every minute of it!
Moustafa is an amazing tour guide and Egyptologist, you couldn't hope to meet a more knowledgeable person about ancient Egypt than him. He is a consummate professional and a gentleman. Our trip to Alexandria was nothing short of outstanding. The catacombs are breathtaking and the amphitheatre is incredible. Learning more about the Greco Roman History of Alexandria was very fulfilling. The new library and museum were absolute highlights too. I highly recommend taking this trip with Moustafa, it is an amazing and full day. The driver was very safe and we had interesting conversation to fill the time. Moustafa was also gracious and accommodating enough to help us with other aspects of our holiday in Egypt, which was hugely helpful.

Our family was particularly pleased at the interweaving between archaeological facts, history and the cultural overlay that he provided during our tour.
