Half day Tour to the Pyramids of Giza
Overview of your Cairo tour
If you have a limited time in Cairo and interested in learning how the pyramids were built, their history and the development of the shape of the tombs during the pharaonic period so you have to choose this tour. I have been leading tours for 20 years, I know exactly where to stop, what to see and how to enrich your visit. I will show all sites with enough explanation that will make you satisfied and dream of coming back to Egypt to see more of it. You will have the chance to experience the real life of Egyptians and get closer to the culture, you will try Egyptian authentic food and learn how rich is Egyptian cuisine. We will visit the Giza Pyramids area to see the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then visit the Great Sphinx. Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Then proceed to have to try authentic Egyptian food and end the tour by visiting Memphis, the oldest capital during the Pharaonic times.
