Cairo and Giza 2 Days tour

We had an absolutely fantastic three-day private tour of Cairo with Moustafa, and he was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. His knowledge was truly impressive he knew the history behind every site, artifact, and detail we came across, and he was able to answer all of our questions, including the many religious and cultural questions we had along the way. He was genuinely interesting to talk to and we really enjoyed his company. One of the best parts of having Moustafa as our guide was his ability to plan around the crowds. He took us to the major sites at times when they were practically empty. At the Pyramids of Giza, we were essentially the only people there, and when we visited the mummies in the morning, we were literally the only visitors. It made the experience feel incredibly special and completely different from what we expected. He was also extremely flexible and attentive throughout all three days. Whether we needed a bathroom break, wanted to spend more time somewhere, or wanted to adjust our plans, he was always accommodating and aware of what we needed. He was also very helpful with the practical side of visiting Cairo including advising us on where to shop and, just as importantly, where NOT to shop. When vendors became overly persistent, he was always looking out for us and would step in to clear the way. We also had a fantastic driver who made getting around Cairo so much easier. He was always friendly and smiling, drove very comfortably, and helped us spend far less time stuck in traffic. Having someone who knew the city so well made a huge difference. We even had water and dates waiting for us in the car, which was a lovely touch. We saw all of the major highlights of Cairo, but the experience felt personal, relaxed, and incredibly well organized. Moustafa’s knowledge, flexibility, and genuine personality made the three days memorable. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Cairo, especially if you want a private experience that goes beyond simply checking the sights off a list.

It is difficult to put into words just how extraordinary Moustafa was. We have traveled extensively and have had many guides over the years, but Moustafa truly stands out as one of the very best we have ever had. If I could give him more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the very beginning, Moustafa made our time in Cairo feel completely personal. He took the time to understand what interested us and what we hoped to experience, and then went out of his way to make it happen. He was incredibly flexible and never made us feel as though we were simply following a standard itinerary. If we wanted to spend more time somewhere, we did. If something particularly interested us, he went into greater depth. He made excellent suggestions along the way and introduced us to things we might never have known to ask for ourselves. His knowledge is remarkable. He was able to explain thousands of years of Egyptian history in a way that was fascinating, understandable, and memorable. I asked a LOT of questions, and he always had thoughtful, detailed answers. He didn't simply point out what we were looking at; he helped us understand why it mattered, how it fit into the larger story of Egypt, and what it could tell us about the people who lived here. But what truly sets Moustafa apart is his passion. He clearly loves Egypt, its history, its culture, and its people, and that passion is contagious. He brought the places we visited to life. I came to Egypt already fascinated by ancient Egyptian history, but I left with an even deeper appreciation and passion not only for ancient Egypt, but for the country, its culture, and its people. Moustafa was also simply wonderful to spend time with. He was patient, kind, attentive, personable, and incredibly generous with his knowledge and his time. We never felt rushed. Instead, it felt as though our experience mattered to him and that he genuinely wanted us to leave Egypt having experienced as much as possible. By the end of our time together, I didn't feel as though we had simply taken a tour of Cairo. I felt that we had been given an opportunity to truly experience and begin to understand Egypt. That is a very different thing, and it is entirely because of Moustafa. In fact, he was so good that instead of feeling as though I can now check Cairo and Egypt off my travel list, I feel exactly the opposite. I want to come back. There is so much more I want to see, understand, and learn. When we return to Cairo, there is absolutely no question who I will contact. I am already excited about exploring even more of Egypt with Moustafa. If you are considering booking him, do it. He is not simply an excellent guide. He is the kind of guide who can transform a trip into something you will remember for the rest of your life. Moustafa gave us one of the most meaningful experiences of our entire journey, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

AMAZING!! Moustafa was so good. He informs you on the things you want to see without overwhelming you with needless info. He is incredibly knowledgable and fun to be around. My wife, son and I spent 3 days with him and it made our trip one of the most amazing trips we have ever had. We will be back.

We can't say enough great things about Mustafa and his driver Beba. What a fantastic 3 days we spent together. They were both very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and at home in Cairo. Started off with GEM, did Pyramids and finished with the City of the Dead and Pharoh's museum. My wife's luggage got lost flying from TZ and Mustafa even leveraged a friend at the airport to track it down and get it back to us. What a great guide and person. What I loved the most about him was his willingness and desire to make sure we not only knew about the sights but fed us the culture of Cairo and it's people. We got a great flavor for it and we can't say enough great things about him!

We had an amazing experience in Cairo, all thanks to our guide, Moustafa, and driver, Bebo. Moustafa is so knowledgeable, communicative, and flexible, which made the whole experience feel easy and personalized. We learned so much about the history and culture, and he answered every single question we threw at him, even the random, hypothetical ones, with so much detail and enthusiasm. We visited the pyramids, Saqqara, Memphis, Coptic Cairo, and the alabaster mosque. He really brought everything to life in a way that stuck with us. After Cairo, we had other guides on our trip, and we kept comparing them to Moustafa…and no one even came close. His depth of knowledge and overall approach just set the bar so high.

I had the pleasure of spending three days in Cairo and Memphis with Moustafa, and he couldn’t have been a better guide – incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun to spend time with. His expertise on all topics in archaeology and Egyptology is incredible. His passion for Egyptology shows, as he takes great pride in sharing the stories of his beloved homeland. Amazing.
