We actually booked 3 days with Ramses as part of our family spring break. Giza Pyramids and GEM, Dahshur and Saqqara, and Cairo church/market tour/experience. Ramses was exceptional on all fronts… knowledgeable and well educated, engaging with our whole family, organized and punctual, and a great communicator. I would definitely recommend a private guide to get the full experience of Cairo and lessen the hectic nature of the city, and feedback from my kids was that they loved Ramses. The pyramids in particular would not be the same without a high quality guide.

We spent 2 great days with Ramses. Day 2 included the Pyramids, and Saqqara. Note - early start required for the Pyramids, which was a shock to the system but very justified given that we almost had the Great Pyramid to ourselves. As a once in a lifetime trip, hiring Ramses was definitely justified to ensure we got the most out of our trip. Highly recommended !

We spent 2 days with Ramses. If we have retained 10% of the content of this tour, then we will be all the richer for it. Day 1, we visited the Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo including the market. As first time visitors to Cairo, we felt secure having Ramses to guide us. He is a great guy and knows exactly how to lead a tour, including toilet breaks.
