Tailor-made Private Full Day Guided Cairo & Giza Tour

We had a wonderful tour with Wael, the transportation and communication prior to the tour was 5 star. The car and driver were exceptional. The only thing that could possibly have been better explained prior is that he would touch on the museum highlights and leave us on our own for. Personal time to explore, while that sounds reasonable, we only had three hours at the museum we would have preferred a fully guided tour during the entire time at the museum. We stopped into a papyrus shop which was interesting , but if you only have a day in Cairo i would recommend just watching a u tube video as presentation of how paper was hade took 5 minutes and then we were left to explore shop, nothing appealed to our senses. 4 .5 stars Best Deborah and Burke Tucker Vancouver Canada

Our recent journey to Egypt was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to Wael, our phenomenal guide. From the moment we embarked on our adventure, it was clear that choosing a personalized tour experience with Wael was the best decision we could have made. Instead of being part of a large group, we desired a personal and intimate exploration of Egypt’s wonders. Wael, through ‘Tours by Locals’, provided just that. Over the course of three days, we delved into the rich tapestry of Egypt's history, both ancient and modern, guided by Wael's remarkable expertise and passion. His knowledge is unparalleled, and he communicated it with such enthusiasm that it was contagious. Wael’s meticulous planning ensured that we maximized our time at each site. He expertly navigated us through the complexities of ticketing and scheduling, allowing us to bypass the throngs of tourists and enjoy a more serene experience. The driving conditions in Cairo can be challenging, but thanks to our skilled driver Mohammed, we always felt safe and at ease. Mohammed's expert driving deserves special recognition! Though guides cannot enter tomb areas, Wael prepared us with thorough briefings, enhancing our visits with insightful tips on what to observe. His efforts significantly enriched our experiences. Additionally, Wael surprised us with delightful side trips, like witnessing the fascinating process of papyrus paper making. Wael's choice of dining venues allowed us to savor exquisite Egyptian cuisine, adding another layer of enjoyment to our trip. His generosity extended beyond guiding; he lent us a personal hotspot device when we faced connectivity issues and arranged a visit to a prestigious jeweler when I sought a special gift for my wife. In conclusion, Wael’s dedication, expertise, and warmth made our Egyptian adventure truly unforgettable. We are immensely grateful to ‘Tours by Locals’ for introducing us to Wael, who not only served as the best guide but also became a friend. Thank you, Wael, for an incredible journey!

Our tour guide Wael was the best choice we could have made to organize a perfect day in Cairo. His English is excellent, and his knowledge of Egyptian history is truly impressive. He has a real passion for what he does, speaks with great enthusiasm, and was always helpful with everything we needed. Everything went exactly as planned and was very well organized! We recommend 100%

Just finished our tour with Wael and we had a fantastic experience. We saw all the things we wanted to in our limited timeframe and Wael is a world of knowledge on all things Egyptian. He helped us navigate the New Egyptian Museum in Giza as well as the older Egyptian Archeological Museum in Cairo in a reasonable amount of time. Either of these could easily take a day or two to see on your own. We highly recommend Wael for a fun, safe and informative tour of Cairo and Giza. We only wish we had more time to spend with him and see other sites and cities in Egypt.

Thank you so much for an amazing experience on the tour! Your knowledge of the local history and culture was impressive, and you made each stop feel engaging and informative. I particularly appreciated the way you were able to answer questions and share personal anecdotes that brought the locations to life. Your enthusiasm and passion were contagious, and it was clear you really care about the area and the people you’re guiding. The pacing of the tour was perfect, and you made sure everyone was comfortable and included. It was also great how you kept things interactive, ensuring that no one felt left out
