Full Day Cairo pyramids Tour

Ramses started on the right foot - he suggested we connect early in the day, 630 a.m., to ensure we could avoid the crowds. He was straight on that; we dodged the waits. Ramses is a life of the mind guide, so we combined a learning experience with a give-and-take on all kinds of things, making the whole engagement a pleasure. So, yes, we saw the Pyramids. But the day became a broader endeavor, with each of our many questions considered and answered. Highly recommend Ramses.

Ramses was a spectacular guide for us over three days in Cairo and Giza. He is deeply knowledgable on all Egyptian subjects from pre-history through to present day, knows the history of every Egyptian who has ever lived, can instantly translate hieroglyphic, Demotic and Coptic, and explains it all in an incredibly relatable way, with context to current events and conditions in Egypt and across the world. A tour with Ramses is a VIP experience in that the way he is treated (with respect and true affection) opens doors for you, sometimes locked doors. He took all the friction and hassle out of what can be a difficult intimidating city, and filled it with humour and expertise. We really do feel like we now have a friend in Egypt, and are working with him now to possibly arrange a mobility-impaired tour for our parents this winter.

Best archeological guide ever!! Not a question that can Ramses doesn’t know the answer to! He is a genius Egyptologist with a heart of gold. He was amazing with our large family and kind to everyone. He answered even our most obvious questions and was a joy to be around. We love Ramses and would definitely book again!

Best guide for Saqqara Necropolis!! Ramses has dedicated his life to Egyptology and is incredibly knowledgeable. We went to the necropolis with no idea what we were getting into, he curated the perfect experience, guided us away from the crowds, and paced the tour perfectly for our large multigenerational family. Ramses read hieroglyphs right from the wall and knew the sights like he’d been there a thousand times. We’ve never had a more knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and energetic archeological guide! There is no question that can stump Ramses!

Excellent tour, Ramses was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and fun to be around, made the tour a lot more fun, which is exactly what I was looking for in a tour guide. Stand-up and honest too. Saw the the main attractions, but also several spots that were off the beaten path and frankly even better than the great pyramids. Set up the tour to avoid the crowds, got us to the inside of the pyramid before most crowds. Can't go wrong with choosing this tour.
