Hello, my name is Moustafa, I am an English speaking tour guide, professional Egyptologist, graduated from faculty of archaeology, Egyptology section, Cairo university, ( not easy to join this faculty, since Egypt recently interested to raise a new generation of archaeologists to excavate, dig, and write about ancient Egypt. Honestly, Am looking for those, who want to learn about Ancient Egypt, how they lived, acted, their society..., together we mix both history we know with the new research and the new excavations. I specialize in customizing tours all over Egypt and the new excavations, since I am already working on that. Most of my tours are couples and families, so you can ask freely and you will find your answers with me. I do tours in Cairo (Pyramids, museums, Islamic, Coptic), quick trips from Alexandria to Cairo, day trips to Cairo, overnight in Cairo, generally all kinds of Cairo and Giza trips (1 day to 5 days trip), Luxor, Aswan, cruises between Luxor & Aswan, and, of course, all Alexandria tours, Alfayoum tours, etc. Your smallest wish is my desire ! Safety and comfort come first, I never drive and guide at the same time, I hire A/C vans with licensed drivers from the Ministry of Tourism. I will provide the new research, the new and different theories according to the SCAN projects, diggings and the new excavations. I finished my Masters in Egyptology, doing my PHD now, reading & writing ancient Egyptian languages (Hyroglyph+ Demotic + Heratic +Coptic). Furthermore, in the summertime, I work at various archaeological digs and I teach students in my faculty, the Egyptology, the Hieroglyphs, and how to dig. I Finished my Masters Degree, and about to finish my PHD soon. Member of the Supreme council of digging in Sakkara & Dahshour. If you want a tour with the perfect mix of education and fun, book Moustafa. He is very intelligent, kind, funny and gives great advice for navigating Cairo, Giza and Luxor. We had a fantastic time visiting Dahshur, Saqqara, and Giza. We got to personalize our experience which made it even more enjoyable. This was one of our favorite tours in Cairo - a visit to the ancient cities of Dashour and Saqqara. Dashour, with its two unique pyramids - the Red and the Bent is a great adventure for people who wish to climb down inside. My favorite part, however, was the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, filled with tombs adorned with colorful frescoes, and the Serapeum, which still remains a mystery. Moustafa was brilliant with the explanations about the tombs and the serapeum and his narratives literally took me back thousands of years ago. He can also read and speak Hieroglyphics which made the tour even more interesting as he made meaning of all those inscriptions on the tomb walls. We had a great time on this tour and would love to do this again.

Writing this after I've left Cairo and had time to think. With all honesty I can say our tour with Moustafa was the best part of our trip to Cairo. His education and experience as an Egyptologist is abundantly evident, as is his love of teaching others about his country's history. Adding to the great tour experience is his knowledge of how other tours and tourists move around, allowing us to avoid the crowds and make the most of our time. If/when I return to Cairo, I will take more tours with Moustafa.
