Private Layover Tour from Cairo INT Airport

What a great tour! We wanted to see Heliopolis, which is a bit off the standard tourist track, and Ereen really delivered. The logistics could have been challenging--meeting us at the airport, dealing with different flight times on the way back, requests to visit slightly unusual attractions--but Ereen made it all work out. She has her own car and driver (thank you also Emir!), which is a big plus. Bonus: she knows Heliopolis well, having lived there at one point. I wish more visitors would explore this area! The architecture is incredible, and the neighborhood plays a major role in the history of Cairo's development. If you go, consider asking Ereen to be your guide!

Ereen was a wonderful guide on our layover tour! She picked us up right on time, worked with us on what we really wanted to accomplish in our short time there and gave us recommendations based on her own experiences. In the museum she made sure that we hit the highlights and didn't miss the most interesting items but also allowed us a little time on our own. I really appreciated that she listened to what was important to us and gave us the space to make it our own. And she was great with our kids!

This was perfect from beginning to end. The communication in setting up the tour and confirming details was excellent and much appreciated. I felt very confident right from this point. The tour itself completely fitted our brief and was brilliant. I would happily have another 'accidental' day-to-burn in Cairo with Ereen.

Ereen is great. Informative and attentive but not overbearing. I'm recommending her for a friend that's visiting Egypt next year.

Ereen put together an amazing one day tour in Cairo. She warned us it would be very full but we managed to fit in everything we wanted - Saqqara, Giza, Sphynx, Boat Museum and the Cairo museum. Ereen was really knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. It was really exciting going inside the pyramid at Giza and the quality of the drawings at Saqqara was amazing. Ereen took us to all the key items in the Cairo museum and provided lots of background. The driver was excellent too.
