Hi, I am Rania, a descendant of queen Hatshepsut! I have been an Egyptologist tour guide for more than 25 years but I am still fascinated by every historical site My given name is Rania which begin with the name of the most powerful God Ra the sun god, maybe that's why i always loved the Pharoanic history and dreamed to be an Egyptologist. I'm also a big animal lover and i take care of the stray dogs and cats everywhere,so don't be surprised if you see me carrying food for them and don't be afraid of them they're so friendly and loving. My biggest dream was to become a guide since I was fourteen as I falled in love with the Egyptian history and civilization I was admiring every single detail when visiting the monuments, I studied hard to realize my dream. I am a funny person you won't feel bored with me , I love art , plants, music, traveling and cooking. Rania has a wonderful gift for storytelling. She didn’t just share facts and dates, she made us feel as if we had stepped back in time. Every monument, every street, and every story came alive through her passion and knowledge, making the history of Egypt unforgettable. We finished the tour feeling that we had learned so much, but above all, we had an incredible 2 days with Rania. A special mention also goes to her driver Driving in Cairo is an experience in itself, but from the moment we got into the car, we felt completely safe. Thank you for giving us memories we will treasure for a lifetime. We would recommend Rania without hesitation to anyone visiting Egypt.

Rania exudes confidence, commitment, caring and determination - as a guide of museum docent level professionalism. Reliable, trustworthy and honest, we were allowed to cut lines as staff recognized her as an expert. We joked, “your add should read Cut the Line with Rania.” Hire Rania if you want a person who sits “next to you” instead of standing in front of you. She is a sincere, real person who escorts you through the complex maze that is Cairo. Rania delivers on what she says. She expressed as earnest willingness to go out of her way to help me just in case when I told her that my next destination was Jordan. She is truly a cut above other guides with integrative knowledge of the culture and history. If you interrupt other guides, they have to return to the portion of their memorized scripts from where they left off. Not so with Rania. See the GEM with her as a minimum.

My husband and I had a lovely day with Rania touring Coptic Cairo. Her passion for the places we visited came through clearly, and her depth of knowledge was impressive. She made the day both informative and enjoyable. She asked if there was any shopping we wished to do, and took us to a shop where we learned how papyrus is made and we bought some beautiful pieces to bring home. It was a great tour and we highly recommend Rania as a guide.
