Overview of your Cairo tour
Each time I go to the Pyramids I say to myself "what an enormous structure", especially the Step Pyramid at Sakkara the first stone-structure ever known by man-made They were built during a time when Egypt was one of the richest and most powerful civilizations in the world. The pyramids are some of the most magnificent man-made structures in history. Their massive scale reflects the unique role that the pharaoh, or king, played in ancient Egyptian society. Then we will drive further to Dahshur to show you how the architects changed the angle of the pyramids gradually and show you the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid and why it's called the Bent Pyramid, and why the outer casing started to collapse. Then will go to Memphis which played the role of financial and political center for Egypt during the Old until New Kingdom, about more than 3000 years BC. I will show you an amazing museum with one piece only, so you can imagine why?
Your Cairo tour itinerary
- Pick you up from your residence and drive to the south to visit: - Place no. 1 Sakkara complex and the Step Pyramid, the first Pyramid ever 2900 B. C. and to see beautiful tombs and coloured burial chambers and mastabas in the same sight. - Place no. 2 Drive again to Memphis, the Oldest Egyptian Capital. - Place no. 3 Drive again to the south to see the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid of King Senefru in Dahshur, father of King Khufu and the founder of the 4th Dynasty 2600 B. C. to tell you the story of these 2 pyramids in the same sight for the first time in our ancient history. - Then go back to your residence. Any special request you may have, do not hesitate to ask.
