What does it feel like to walk in the footsteps of pharaohs, to hear the echoes of history in the wind, and to feel the magic of the Nile at night? My name is Rasha Hamid, and as an Egyptologist and tour guide with 22 years of experience, it is my passion to share that feeling with you. A graduate of Cairo University and a proud member of WFTGA and EGTGS, I believe that the real treasures of Egypt are not just in the ancient pyramids, but in the vibrant tapestry of its daily life. I want to show you the heart of Egypt—the hidden gems in its bustling streets, the serene beauty of its Coptic and Islamic quarters, and the genuine warmth of its people. Whether you are a solo traveler or a large group, I will custom-design an itinerary that is truly yours. My tours are about quality over quantity, ensuring you have the time to fully connect with each site and moment. With my expertise and a comfortable, modern vehicle, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the journey. Let's turn your trip into an unforgettable story. I would be honored to show you the charm of both modern and ancient Egypt, tailored perfectly to you.

If you have limited time in Cairo and you are interested in learning about ancient Egyptian history and see many artefacts displayed in one place, and if you are interested in knowing more about Islamic architecture and old Bazaars, so this tour is designed just for you. I have been leading tours for 24 years, I know exactly where to stop, what to see and how to enrich your visit. I will show all sites with enough explanation that will make you satisfied and dream of coming back to Egypt to see more of it. You will have the chance to experience the real life of Egyptians and get closer to the culture, you will try Egyptian authentic food and learn how rich is Egyptian cuisine. The tour starts by visiting the Egyptian Museum, which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period. Then proceed to visit the Alabaster Mosque & the Citadel of Salah El Din, lunch. Continue driving to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Rasha was just a fantastic addition to our trip. My niece and I were finishing a 10 day group tour of Egypt and decided to use a private guide for a change of pace the last day. Rasha was great about communication (I had to change meeting time the last minute) and she and the driver were there exactly as promised. Rasha's English, Egyptian historical knowledge and beautiful personality were hard to beat. The driver and car provided was safe and pleasant. We loved the insight Rasha gave us!
Rasha was very informative and knowledgeable. She is very personable and outgoing. She provided an itinerary that did not overlap with a vacation tour we were taking in Egypt.
Rasha is punctual and happily taught us Egyptian history, modern culture and symbolism in the art and architecture. We would have been lost in Cairo and Giza without her. She helped us at the bank, negotiating with vendors and showed us a authentic (non touristy) restaurant. She really helped us utilize our time effectively. Her driver was safe and friendly. Her knowledge of Egyptology is second to none and she welcomes questions about the complexity of ancient Egypt and keeps it fun.
I can't begin to express how much we enjoyed Rasha and her tours. She is passionate and joyful about Egyptian history and the country. She is absolutely wonderful with teenagers and getting them engaged. We had a very dry/boring tour guide prior to her and actually backed out of a tour with him and asked Rasha to take us to Saqqara for our final day in Cairo. I wish I'd hired her for the pyramids also! Americans- her English is phenomenal and she's easy to understand! She also protected us from beggars.
Great knowledge, excellent English and a pleasant demeanor made for a great tour of Cairo!
