Egyptian Museum & Civilization Museum

Our tour with Rasha began our visit to Cairo and was an excellent experience. Rasha arrived promptly at our hotel at the appointed time with the driver and private vehicle for our tour. We first visited the Egyptian Museum of Civilization - a very nice and relatively new facility providing a wonderful overview of ancient Egyptian culture and the opportunity to see the royal mummies. After completing that visit, we moved to the old Egyptian Museum. Although many items have been relocated to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting this historical old museum and its extensive collection. It is definitely worth the time to visit. Throughout the day, Rasha's excellent knowledge, passion for her history, and her wonderful personality made this a wonderful way to start our visit. The transportation was first rate and gave us great flexibility. Her communication in arranging the tour was timely and clear. She is a true professional and a wonderful ambassador for her country and its people. I recommend her very highly and would use her services again while visiting Cairo.

Rasha is an excellent guide. The tour is well-paced and comprehensive, especially given that I’ve visited the GEM previously so the tour required adapting.

Rasha was excellent. She was knowledgeable and full of energy. We only had about 2 and a half hours, and she did a wonderful job of showing us the best of the best.

We booked a tour only for the Egyptian Museum and the bazaar in Kairo. We were thrilled by how flexible we were able to switch the program to include the coptic quarters. Rasha really went out of her way to accomodate all our wishes. This is our second tour with her and again we were astonished about her vast knowledge with which Rasha let us experience history in the todays context. We also received several hints for our further trip to luxor. With her detailed knowledge about the Egyptian history I would absolutely recommend Rasha for every tour to Kairo or any of the other sites in Egypt. We are looking forward to our next tour with her.

Rasha worked with me to customize my tour to ensure my priorities were met. She not only shared an amazing amount of knowledge about the artifacts, exhibits and ancient structures, but she provided wonderful insight into each neighborhood we passed through when moving from one place to another. She never rushed me, and welcomed all my questions. We even had wonderful conversations comparing our respective Countries in modern times. Perhaps the most fun, was an impromptu picnic, where she & our driver, Shalif (sp) introduced me to delicious Egyptian falafel! I really appreciate Rasha for making my dreams become a reality.
