My name is Abduo — or Abdullah — your Egyptian Gate to history, culture, and unforgettable experiences. I am more than just an English-speaking tour guide; I am a dedicated storyteller, a guardian of heritage, and a passionate guide committed to bringing Egypt’s ancient world to life in a way that is meaningful, enjoyable, and deeply personal.
My journey into the world of Egyptology began at Helwan University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Egyptology from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Guidance Dpt. in 2006. Soon after, I received my professional tour guide license and advanced my academic path with a Master’s degree in Ancient Egyptian Archaeology.

I began my career in 2007, working with respected international travel companies such as Viking, Gate 1 Travel, TUI Travel, and Thomas Cook. These experiences helped shape my professional approach—grounded in accuracy, hospitality, and a genuine passion for sharing Egypt with the world.
For many years, I have worked as a freelance tour guide, designing and leading customized private tours across Egypt. Each tour is crafted to blend expert knowledge with warm, authentic human connection. I believe that every traveler deserves a unique journey—one that is informative, comfortable, and filled with moments to remember.
In 2020, I proudly joined Tours By Locals, offering guests carefully curated experiences that reveal both the grandeur of Ancient Egypt and the vibrant life of modern-day Egypt.
