The necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funeral cult with Hellenistic and early Imperial Roman influences. 2) Pompey's Pillar 3) The Roman Theater This is the most complete Roman ruin in Egypt. It was a small auditorium used for listening music and the reading of poetry and dates from the 2nd century AD. Other ruins have been excavated on the site.
