Hi I'm Gabriel, born '71, I've lived in Copenhagen for almost 20 years and I am a Danish citizen, I know my way around my city. It's a beautiful place, and I'm really looking forward to introducing you to its rich and varied life and history. Maybe you've always wanted to visit Copenhagen, perhaps you have something in mind that you particularly want to see. Well, that's absolutely no problem. I'm here to help and give you the best time I possibly can. Get in touch, and we'll tailor a tour just for you. In Copenhagen, everything is within reach. It's easy to get around the city by bike, but if you prefer I'm happy to transport you by car. If you're planning to spend a few days here, I'd strongly suggest that you consider travelling further afield, and I'm happy to organise a day trip that can take in any number of historic sites and attractions. There are Viking remains and ships, Hamlet's Castle and various Royal Palaces all within easy reach. We can even pop across the channel to Sweden! I'm a licensed Tour Guide, educated at Roskilde University, with 15 years' experience conducting tours within museums and attractions and throughout the Copenhagen itself. There are plenty of worthwhile places to visit if you venture a little out into the Danish countryside. On this trip, you'll be conveniently and comfortably transported to and guided around the most significant historic monuments on the island of Zealand. Said to be the castle that Shakespeare had in mind when writing Hamlet, the medieval fortress of Kronborg dominates the straight between Denmark and Sweden. It's featured prominently in many a battle! Frederiksborg Castle, however, has a different ambiance. Its fountains, courts, gardens and chapel recall regal luxury and formality - mind your Ps and Qs! The tour also takes in Roskilde Cathedral. Roskilde is the country's historic capital, and all Danish regents are buried in the Cathedral's elaborate tombs. In Roskilde we'll also see some actual Viking longships. Recovered more in less intact from the waters of Roskilde Fjjord, they're the type of vessels that Viking warriors set sail in to spread terror as far as the Mediterranean.
We had the most incredible day on our customized tour with Gabriel! He went above and beyond to show us everything we asked for and more! Hidden gems along the way, a coastal ride around the countryside, unique features of the sites, and more. We felt very welcome and had a blast. I would highly recommend him!

Great guide. Very knowledgeable. Was flexible with the itinerary and added a stop at the Louisiana museum of modern art and sculpture garden, (which was a nice addition and change from the royal palaces). Also added a stop at the Queen's summer palace for a quick outside look. It was a full day and amazing.
Gabriel was a wonderful, helpful guide. We had two wheelchairs with us and he adjusted to make sure we could easily arrive near to each site we were touring. He was patient and helpful. I highly recommend Gabriel, especially for any tours requiring driving a distance to see sights. He suggested new additions to our plans to give the best overview of the area we were visiting. Everyone in our group of eight enjoyed our time.

Your day starts when I collect you from your location, and drive you north of Copenhagen to the town of Helsingør where we'll visit Kronborg Castle. From there, we head south to the town of Hillerød and Frederiksborg Castle. After stopping for lunch in Hillerød, we're off again, this time heading east to the town of Roskilde and UNESCO World Heritage Site Roskilde Cathedral. Our sightseeing finishes when we complete the brief journey to Roskilde's Viking Ship Museum, which as well as featuring actual historic vessels is home to full scale working replica warships built along traditional lines. When the day is done, I'll return you to your accomodation for a well-earned nights rest.
