Let me show you beautiful Copenhagen! As a tour guide and travel writer, my passion is sharing this fantastic city with travelers from all over the world, hoping they'll fall in love with it as much as I have. Originally from Canada, I spent several years traveling the world working on board cruise ships - I have visited over 60 countries and countless cities, but I chose to make Copenhagen my home. When you see it for yourself, you'll know why! I never tire of exploring Copenhagen and discovering its secrets, and of course enjoying the food! My love of the city shines through in my tours, and my enthusiasm is contagious. Each tour is designed to help you get the most out of your time in Copenhagen by showing you both the most famous sights and the hidden gems, while giving you insight into Danish history and culture. My favourite way to see Copenhagen is on foot, so that we can explore the quaint cobblestone streets, stroll the sprawling gardens and scenic canals, and pop into interesting places to take a peek. Of course, the pace of the tour is up to you, and since walking tours aren't for everyone, most of mine can also be done by car if desired. The best thing about taking a private tour is that it's created to suit your preferences, so just let me know if you'd like yours to be customized, or if you just have any particular interests. We can always veer off the beaten path, or just take a break in a local café and have a chat about whatever interests you. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have, and provide recommendations for what to see, do, and eat during the remainder of your stay. I hope you'll join me for a tour so I can share wonderful Copenhagen with you. 9 years as a full-time tour guide in Copenhagen - Travel writer for Lonely Planet - 8 years travelling the world working with Princess Cruises I am not a driver myself but am happy to arrange a vehicle and driver for the tour for an additional cost, if requested prior to booking.

Let me take you beyond the postcards to some of my favorite hidden gems of Copenhagen. If you have already seen the main sights, are planning to explore them on your own, or are looking to go off the beaten path, this is the tour for you. On this intriguing 4-hour walking tour, I will take you through the charming cobblestone streets of the oldest part of Copenhagen. We'll start with a stroll through the colorful Latin Quarter, as we set off to discover places most tourists might miss as I share the fascinating stories behind them. Explore picturesque squares, historic buildings, and hidden gardens and courtyards, discovering the details you might otherwise miss. Along the way, you'll hear tales of kings, geniuses, traitors, and more that will make Copenhagen's old town come to life. We can also stop into a local bakery for a Danish pastry and a cup of coffee.
Tour Highlights include: Gammeltorv - Copenhagen's oldest square The vibrant Latin Quarter Entrance to The Church of Our Lady, Copenhagen's Cathedral (occasionally closed to visitors) Historic Copenhagen University The 17th-century Round Tower Colorful Gråbrødretorv - Greyfriars Square Gammel Strand - the old shore line and former site of a historic fish market Christiansborg Palace The Royal Library Gardens - a hidden oasis The Royal Library and the Black Diamond Magstræde - Copenhagen's most picturesque street And many more hidden gems along the way.
