Overview of your Copenhagen tour
Southern Sweden is reached through the crossing of the 2nd longest bridge in Europe in less than ½ hour. Remember passports and off we go to see Sweden's third largest city, Malmo and beyond the historic Lund with the cathedral from 1145 C. E. , formerly seat of power for Northern Europe located in the beautiful landscape. It is possible to combine with a 20 minute ferry-ride back across to Elsinore in today's Denmark and the Castle Kronborg (Hamlet's Castle) On the way back to Copenhagen we will go along the coast with some of the most beautiful residence houses of today's wealthiest Danes and of course the American ambassador. On the way we pass one of the major locations for the historic rescue of Danish Jews in 1943. If you thought Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen was the oldest amusement park in the world, I will show you one that is hundreds of years older: Bakken from 1583 - and still more fun than Tivoli - so they say! This tour can be accommodated according to any reasonable wishes you might have!
