Many years ago I came to Denmark from England because I was curious to find out why Danes were "The Happiest Nation on Earth". I am delighted to say that I found out and am willing to share this with you! Having fallen in love with Copenhagen, Denmark (and a Dane) I became fascinated by Danish history and culture; a passion which led me to become educated as a tour guide. With a background in the music business in London and later as a psychotherapist I am well qualified to listening and my guiding is always based around the interests and requirements of my guests. I am not an academic, there are other guides who are; if you want a tour filled with detail of Kings and dates then look elsewhere because what I offer is a viewpoint of Denmark and Copenhagen seen from the eye of a very interested Englishman. That said every day I continue to study the story of the Land of the Vikings. My favourite past-time is wandering the streets of Copenhagen looking for unusual routes and sights to show my guests. The buildings may be beautiful but they come alive with a story. Above all my aim is for you (and I) to have a entertaining and fun day whilst I share my love and knowledge of my wonderful adopted homeland. Authorised Danish Tour Guide. Educated at Roskilde University Most of my tours are on foot or bicycle.. Some of the cruise ship harbour out of the city and require transportation

A walking tour in Royal Footsteps. I am an unabashed Royalist (though I understand why some are not!) loving their history and pageantry. Enjoy hearing stories of some of the previous Kings and also about our current Royal family including our Australian Princess and future Queen. Join me on a tour of King Christian 4's summer place (Rosenborg) and see how he and his antecedent's lived from the 1600's. He is a huge character in Danish history with many of the famous buildings being built in his lifetime. There are some fun tales to be told. Then a walk to see the current Queen's Palace (from the outside), We continue with a stroll through the highlights of Copenhagen and finish with a tour around the beautiful Queen's Representation rooms, where we see how the Queen entertains and learn a little about Danish history through her Gobelins (tapestries). There is time for coffee/lunch, conversation, and lots of photo opportunities
Rosenborg Castle A walk through the King's Gardens Amalienborg Palace Nyhavn Town Centre. Christiansborg and Queen's Representation Rooms If you have specific requests I can, of course, include them in the tour. Please contact me.
