Welcome! My name is Carolina, and I’m originally from Argentina with Italian roots. I’ve been living in Denmark since early 2016. I came here as a tourist and fell in love with this beautiful country, its colorful houses, and its fascinating Viking history. My background is in graphic design, but I’ve always loved architecture thanks to my father, who is an architect. Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed learning about the details and stories behind buildings. Now I’m married to a Dane and have two young children, which has immersed me deeply in Danish culture. I love sharing the fascinating anecdotes, traditions, and experiences I’ve discovered along the way. I’m particularly passionate about the history of Danish kings and queens, the stories of Viking ships, and the rich traditions of this ancient kingdom. Denmark is full of unique details that I can’t wait to share with you. One of my favorite things when traveling is trying local food. I enjoy recommending Danish ingredients and dishes that are worth tasting again and again. If you would like to customize a tour, let me know, and I will be happy to create an experience tailored to your interests! Would you like to discover Denmark with me? Write to me, and let’s explore together!

This 2 day tour is perfect for travelers who want to have the full Copenhagen royal heritage experience along with the most iconic landmarks in the Danish capital, with private transportation. We will enjoy the tour in two perfectly paced parts, combining royal history, sustainable and historical architecture, famous highlights, and authentic Danish food. Across these two days, we will explore the interiors and surroundings of all three major royal castles: Rosenborg (home to the Crown Jewels), Christiansborg (the royal reception rooms), and Amalienborg (the current residence of the Royal Family). Every room, object, and decoration in these palaces tells a unique story, from wartime jewelry to grand tapestry halls. Beyond the palaces, we will visit iconic Nyhavn Harbor, see the famous Little Mermaid, walk through the Opera House gardens across the waterfront, and take time for local food breaks, including a traditional Danish lunch on Day 1 and a cozy harbor coffee on Day 2.
This is a flexible suggested itinerary that can easily be adapted according to your specific needs and interests. DAY 1: Royal Castles, City Icons & Traditional Lunch (6 Hours) - Rosenborg Palace - King’s Garden & Royal Guard Headquarters - Traditional Danish Lunch Break* - Christiansborg Palace (Royal Reception Rooms) - Nyhavn Harbor - The Little Mermaid DAY 2: Modern Monarchy, Modern Architecture & Seaside Coffee (3 Hours) - Amalienborg Palace - Copenhagen Opera House (Exterior walk) - Harbor Views & Coffee Break* *Please note that lunch and food/drinks are not included in the tour rate, allowing you full flexibility to choose whatever you feel like eating on the day from my local recommendations.

Please note that some areas of the city are cobblestone, which may make walking a bit more challenging compared to smooth sidewalks.
