Kierkegaards Copenhagen - The Philosopher and his City - walking tour

We had a great time with Mads learning all about Søren Kierkegaard's fascinating life story while walking the streets in Copenhagen. Mads is a great storyteller and made the historical figure Kierkegaard come alive. Moreover, Mads breath of knowledge in history meant that he was able to answer all of our questions along the way with ease, and giving us a lot of context to the world Søren was living in. The tour took us along many pretty alleyways, including a little hidden courtyard giving us a glimpse of the old Copenhagen. Would warmly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the best parts of the city while learning about one of its most famous inhabitants!

My family and I had a great time during our visit to Copenhagen on the tour with Mads. He is knowledgeable, kind, funny, and accommodating to our needs with our young son. He showed us an insight into the city of Søren Kierkegaard that we wouldn't have gotten any other way, with lots of well-researched stories. There was something for everyone, whether you have an interest in philosophy or not. He has an excellent knowledge of Danish pastries as well! Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend for both lone travellers, couples, and families visiting the city.

This was a wonderful afternoon! The story of Soren Kierkegaard, and the places of his life, take you through the city, but also out of time. So much so that when accidentally crossing a modernized shopping street, it strikes as out of place. Mads knows a lot and has ample detail to add to what one might already know. A life (Kierkegaard's) came alive and a city with it. I can highly recommend Mads as a guide!

What a wonderful tour we had with Mads! Great story teller! Incredibly knowledgeable! We learned so many interesting facts from Kierkegaards's life, so, we were very happy that we didn't miss it.

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Mads yesterday. It was exactly what we had hoped for and his stories were fun and interesting. We really enjoyed spending the morning walking about some of the significant and fascinating but less touristy sights of Copenhagen with Mads and would highly recommend him to any of our friends that are coming to this part of the world. Thanks again Mads, definitely 5 stars from us!
