Hej! Discover Copenhagen with me, an authorized guide with over 10 years of experience in the industry. My name is Lavinia, I was born and raised in Italy, but moved to Denmark in 2014. When I first came here I was an outsider looking in, as you are perhaps, and I would love to guide you in understanding this wonderful country. I particularly love modern architecture and city planning, as well as royal history and visiting museums. A little bit about me - I was born in Italy and I have always loved traveling and experiencing new cultures. After finishing my studies in Italy, I moved to Copenhagen and I made it my home. I started working with the tourism industry in 2016, as a guide for cruise ship guests, and I quickly realized that I loved learning about the history of my adoptive country and sharing it with my guests! In 2020 I obtained my diploma for becoming a licensed tour guide in Denmark from Roskilde University. Since then I've been working with my own company "Copenhagen with Lavinia", catering to all types of clients from big groups, company trips, to individual travelers and families. Overview of your Copenhagen tour
Traveling with little ones can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be! I have 3 kids of my own, and I love showing them the beauty of Copenhagen! They inspired me to create this tour especially for families. On this walking tour we'll talk about the city, its history and fun stories, keeping it interesting and fun for the whole family. There will be breaks to play at some of the local playgrounds, toilet rests and of course, we'll walk at a comfortable pace.
Your Copenhagen tour itinerary
We'll start our time together at Amalienborg Square, the residence of King Frederik X, and we'll move towards the city center, hitting Nyhavn, the oldest street in Copenhagen, the Parliament building with its horse training rink, and the Round Tower, finishing at Copenhagen city library, where you'll find a great children play area. The itinerary is easy to customize. For kids ages 7+ I would suggest visiting the castle of Rosenborg as well, it's always a hit! Just write me a message and we'll find the best solution.
