Overview of your Copenhagen tour
Copenhagen is a world renowned city, in part due to our many green initiatives. On this tour, you'll learn how we're transitioning into becoming a sustainable metropolis. You'll be amazed by the many bikes, the most common way of commuting here. Throughout the tour, I shall be pointing out all the places where traffic is reserved for bikes & pedestrians only. I'll highlight the many solutions, old & new, which have earned us the claim to be one of the world's most sustainable big cities. While we explore the modern additions to the old city, I'll also tell you the fascinating history of my lovely hometown of Copenhagen. I'll chauffeur you in an all-electric luxurious Mercedes SUV or Van (max. 7 pax) and will pick you up at your hotel, cruise ship, or anywhere you wish within the city of Copenhagen. Before we set off, we'll spend a few minutes getting to know each other, and discussing your expectations & preferences for the tour. This 4 hour tour allows for customization, shopping, and a meal.
Your Copenhagen tour itinerary
·W'll begin by passing by Rosenborg Castle, SMK, and Nyboder. ·Then we'll reach the first stop, our most famous landmark, The Little Mermaid. Take a selfie with her & walk through Kastellet, an old military fortress & green city refuge. ·Then we'll continue to Amalienborg Palace, our monarchs' residence (main guard change happens at noon). ·Afterwards, we'll stop at Nyhavn, where the Kissing Bridge connects to Christianshavn, home to numerous house boats along its canals, plus freetown Christiania. I'll show you how a network of bridges reserved for bikes & pedestrians connects the inner harbor. ·We'll then stop at the Opera House, Reffen Street Food & Copenhill (a modern incinerator with a ski slope roof, that burns our garbage with close to 0 emissions). ·We'll then pass by famed NOMA restaurant with its own organic greenery, on our way to Orestad with its futuristic dwellings set along green pastures. ·On our way we'll pass Christiansborg Palace, DACC & Tivoli Gardens
