I am Johnnie G. , born in a suburb of Copenhagen and have lived here most of my life. I am married and a father of 6+ lovely and adult children. I am an educated teacher and coach and during the last 40 years as a professional chauffeur, I have covered over 2 million kilometres around this my favourite city, which I love and would like to share with you. To stay in shape, I sport oldboys ice hockey; as a junior I played for my country. Lately I have joined various boards with growing responsibility, among others the local church and politics and the run for Parliament / Borgen. Educated tourist guide with the oldest and most renowned taxi-company in Copenhagen, Taxa 4x35. None

Castles are awesome! On this trip we will see why - starting with the detailed chambers of royal history as displayed in the beautiful Rosenborg, where the King 400 years ago drew back outside the busy city of Copenhagen. Royal robes and magnificent jewellery up until our days are on display. Through the beautiful landscape, where battles with our Swedish neighbors were fought, to former capital in Roskilde with the historic cathedral and a very interesting interactive Museum of Vikings. From there on to Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, with the possibility of also visiting Fredensborg and Frederiksborg Castles on the way. Back in Copenhagen, the Danish Government uses the huge Christiansborg Castle, but it is at times possible to have a look inside also at the ruins underneath of the first castle of Absalom, who is said to have founded Copenhagen 800 years ago. To be realistic, it is only possible to visit 2-3 of the locations in one day if it is to be done properly and without haste. The choice is up to you!
Suggested Itinerary: • Rosenborg Castle Copenhagen - Royal chambers of Rosenborg Castle, the King's summer residence originally located outside Copenhagen, now in the centre. • Then the royal tombs in the historic cathedral in Roskilde, our former capital, where also the Museum of the Vikings is. • Hamlet Castle Copenhagen - If we can release us from the interesting world of the vikings in time, we will also be able to visit Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, where the tale of Hamlet took place at the narrow inlet between Sweden and Denmark. Tour can be customized upon request to other castles/ venues!
