Welcome! My name is Carolina, and I’m originally from Argentina with Italian roots. I’ve been living in Denmark since early 2016. I came here as a tourist and fell in love with this beautiful country, its colorful houses, and its fascinating Viking history. My background is in graphic design, but I’ve always loved architecture thanks to my father, who is an architect. Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed learning about the details and stories behind buildings. Now I’m married to a Dane and have two young children, which has immersed me deeply in Danish culture. I love sharing the fascinating anecdotes, traditions, and experiences I’ve discovered along the way. I’m particularly passionate about the history of Danish kings and queens, the stories of Viking ships, and the rich traditions of this ancient kingdom. Denmark is full of unique details that I can’t wait to share with you. One of my favorite things when traveling is trying local food. I enjoy recommending Danish ingredients and dishes that are worth tasting again and again. If you would like to customize a tour, let me know, and I will be happy to create an experience tailored to your interests! Would you like to discover Denmark with me? Write to me, and let’s explore together!

I have specially designed this full-day walking tour for travelers who want to fully experience Copenhagen by taking the time to observe, taste, and truly connect with the city. This tour combines the city’s main highlights with hidden corners, quiet streets, and local spots that most visitors never notice—places I’ve had the chance to discover over the past ten years working as a guide in this beautiful city. A special part of the day is our lunch stop. We’ll sit down together at a local place where you’ll get to try traditional Danish food, smørrebrød. I’ll explain everything—from the ingredients and where they come from, to the different variations you might find, when and how these dishes are traditionally eaten, and why they play such an important role in Danish culture. The itinerary and timing will be adapted depending on where we begin, ensuring a comfortable experience. Lunch cost is not included, giving you the freedom to select your preferred dishes.
This is a flexible suggested itinerary that adapts to your interests, energy level, and starting point. Places we may explore include: The City Hall Copenhagen Cathedral The Round Tower Christiansborg Palace Copenhagen’s main square Nyhavn Harbor and its canals The residence of the Danish Royal Family The Little Mermaid statue Hidden passages, quieter streets, special viewpoints, and local bakeries or cafés We’ll also take time for a relaxed lunch break at a local restaurant, allowing you to experience Danish cuisine as part of everyday life.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Our tour will be entirely on foot. Please note that some areas of the city are cobblestone, which may make walking a bit more challenging compared to smooth sidewalks. However, if needed, we can also use public transport to make the journey more comfortable.
Copenhagen, 1599, Denmark
We’ll meet next to the Dragon Fountain, on the side facing the main entrance of Copenhagen City Hall. However, the meeting point is flexible and can be arranged at the cruise port, the airport, your hotel, or another central location in Copenhagen, depending on your preference. If we begin from a different location, the itinerary, timing, and price may be adjusted accordingly to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience
