Hi I'm Gabriel, born '71, I've lived in Copenhagen for almost 20 years and I am a Danish citizen, I know my way around my city. It's a beautiful place, and I'm really looking forward to introducing you to its rich and varied life and history. Maybe you've always wanted to visit Copenhagen, perhaps you have something in mind that you particularly want to see. Well, that's absolutely no problem. I'm here to help and give you the best time I possibly can. Get in touch, and we'll tailor a tour just for you. In Copenhagen, everything is within reach. It's easy to get around the city by bike, but if you prefer I'm happy to transport you by car. If you're planning to spend a few days here, I'd strongly suggest that you consider travelling further afield, and I'm happy to organise a day trip that can take in any number of historic sites and attractions. There are Viking remains and ships, Hamlet's Castle and various Royal Palaces all within easy reach. We can even pop across the channel to Sweden! I'm a licensed Tour Guide, educated at Roskilde University, with 15 years' experience conducting tours within museums and attractions and throughout the Copenhagen itself. A sightseeing tour of Copenhagen's famous sites and the forests of Southern Zealand
Overview of your Copenhagen tour
What do you want to see in Denmark? The most important Copenhagen sites, of course, and we'll take those in on this tour. But how about if we also head out of town, so you can see something unique that tourists rarely venture out to? Our destination is Camp Adventure, with a forest tower that takes you up to and above the treetops - it's a unique way of appreciating the full majesty of the forest and it's ecosystem, and a great way to get some stunning photos of memorable views. It's definitely a family-friendly day out, and for the adventurous, there's also the opportunity to climb among the treetops, securely fastened to a safety wire, of course.
Your Copenhagen tour itinerary
Our day starts when I pick you up from your location in a vehicle suited to the size of our group. From there, our first stop is the Little Mermaid statue - she sits as Hans Christian Andersen imagined her on the seashore staring out across the water and is a popular backdrop for selfies. Then, it's back in the car and onwards to the royal palaces in central Copenhagen: Rosenborg Slot and Christiansborg (which is also the seat of the Danish Parliament). No tour to Copenhagen is complete without a visit to the old docks and colourful historic buildings of Nyhavn, so we'll take in those too, before heading on to the famous Tivoli pleasure gardens and amusement park in the heart of the city. After you've had your sightseeing fill, you'll probably be glad of the change as we head out of the city and an hour or so into the Danish countryside to visit the Camp Adventure forest tower. It's also a peaceful setting to stop for a coffee or a light meal if you fancy that!
