As an educated sightseeing driver and taxi-driver, I perform all kinds of sightseeings and featured rides in the Copenhagen and Malmoe/Skaane area. BREAKING NEWS: I have invested in a Foldable wheelchair, and a Roller with a seat for resting … so for a minor extra fee, I can make sure that walking challenged can enjoy my tours even more. I have invested in a Mercedes EQV - electric zero emission - Luxury minivan, so no you can get the perfect tour and do something good for the climate at the same time. I can Accommodate up to 7 guests and a reasonable amount of luggage … please always ask regarding luggage. For me, no two tours are alike, I do of course have an itinerary to give you assurance that you're going to see it all. That being said, all my tours are adapted as we go, might be an adaptation to your special wishes or needs, slow it down, speed it up, or if you have preferences, these will be incorporated into the tour to make sure that you get maximum value for your money. I take big pride in only having 100% satisfied customers, and I go to great length to give you the best possible experience, and to make sure that you go home from Copenhagen with a positive, happy memory. I always make sure that all rides are adapted to your possibilities, abilities and wishes, and there will always be plenty of opportunity to take pictures and photos as we go along. Though I am a Copenhagen resident and Dane, I have lived 5 years in Malmo/Sweden and have a deep knowledge and the ability to give tours in Malmo and Skaane region focusing both on the history of the area and the modern culture and architectural scene of Skaane/Malmo. I have done a lot of heritage tours and have also (in most cases) the ability to find places of relatives that have migrated from Denmark/Skaane and to the rest of the world to give your tour an extra dimension. I am a trained Handicap driver and educated driver for children with special needs. My car only allows for non seated handicap, meaning that passengers must be able to use normal seats and get in and out of the car - assisted. For the BIG GROUP tour, transportation is a Mercedes 18 seater VIP bus.

Overview of your Copenhagen tour
We start out by heading north towards the castles and on the way there, I'll narrate over the history of Denmark and the background of the castles, and what we're gonna see today. We drive north to Kronborg Castle, where we pay a visit to then "Hamlet" castle and hear about the history of the castle, we drive on to the queen's winter residence for a shortstop and move on to visit Frederiksborg Castle where we see the barok garden, the beautiful church, the Carl Bloch exhibition and the biggest and most amazing renaissance ballroom in Europe. The tour is adaptable, so if you wish, we can shuffle a little on the sights and include other highlights on the tour, i. e. Louisiana art museum, The Karen Blixen Museum, or other sights. Tour is done as a combination of narrating and guiding you around on the sites and getting "time off" to explore on your own. Please notice, that the church at Frederiksborg Castle is a public church and may be closed for services, especially Saturday afternoon.

Ivan got back to me quicker than any Tours By Locals Guide in any other country ever has. He was very prompt. I set up a castle tour and customized it a bit to see 3 castles to the north of Copenhagen. I also told him what we like to see, and that I like to take lots of photos. He is extremely knowledgeable of all things Danish, current and historical, all the towns we drove through and the castles that we saw. We even got to see a changing of the guard at one of the castles! He kept me on track so we were able to see several quick unplanned stops off the tourist track which we very much appreciated. This was a true tour by a local that you’d never see so much and get this much info on a group tour. We spent all day with Ivan and would 100% recommend him to people who want to see and hear more details of places in or outside the Copenhagen. 5+ stars

Your Copenhagen tour itinerary

During this tour, we're gonna visit (1). * Kronborg Castle - Unesco Heritage site - mainly own exploring. * Fredensborg Castle - Drive by and photo stop * Frederiksborg Castle, including guided tour of Castle highlights We also drive by other top attractions like (2): Louisiana Art museum - Humlebaek, Maritime Museum - Helsinore, And we have a chance to visit places like (3): Saint Mary Carmelite Convent - Helsinore, Karen Blixen (Out of Africa) museum - Rungsted, Horsholm Mill and Crafts musuem - Horsholm We always visit the sights mentioned under (1) . . . we can replace or add one of the Items from (2) and we can as time permits fill in with items from (3) . . . Choosing from the "menu" will be done during the tour on the day.

We drive in a Mercedes EQV luxury minivan (7 passengers) and air-con off course. As well as 7 passengers we can bring up to 10-12 pieces of luggage or 2 foldable wheelchairs in the luggage compartment, so combined tour and Transfer is possible for this tour. Tour can start as shore excursion with pick up and drop off at your cruise boat as well as we can start at any hotel downtown Copenhagen. Pick Up/Drop off at hotels outside of the city center and/or Copenhagen airport will require additional time.
