Biking the castles, nature and art north of Copenhagen

We will begin in Copenhagen and use a combination of bikes and train to wander up the coast. We will bike through the forest where King Christian V was kicked by a deer in 1698 which caused his demise and wave to the deer's offspring. We will bike through Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park. We will visit the world famous Louisiana sculptor museum and enjoy coffee (or a beer) at a beautiful setting overlooking the Oresund and Sweden. We will bike along the coast to Kronborg, Hamlet's Castle: "There is something rotten in Denmark." This beautiful castle controlled a vital international maritime trading route for centuries. We will return to Copenhagen via a beautiful coastal train ride.

Meet Copenhagen Central Train Station, or location of your choosing in greater Copenhagen area -- Local train to Charlottenlund -- Bike along coast to Bakken, the royal hunting grounds -- Bike through world's oldest amusement park and the deer filled countryside -- Train along coast to world famous Louisiana Art and Sculpture Museum -- Bike along coast to Kronborg -- Return to Copenhagen via train.
