Overview of your Copenhagen tour
Visit Aarhus, second biggest city in Denmark, rich on museums, culture, architecture, amazing nature, and great food. We cross from Zealand to Aarhus by 75 minute ferry both ways. Scheduled to last 14 hours, the tour can be extended to 2 days, with plenty of good accommodations and Michelin Star restaurants in this lovely city, where I grew up, and which I know like my own pocket. I will show you not only museums, but also spectacular nature, as well as both old and modern architecture. While this tour can be customized, please confer about opening hours on your preferred day of visiting.
Your Copenhagen tour itinerary
From Copenhagen, we head nortwest along the motorway. Two hours later we board the ferry, that carries us to Aarhus. It is a lovely view as we arrive. I drive you around for a brief overview of the city, before we head south along the beautiful forest and coastline, to Moesgaard Museum. At the museum, housed in a very modern building, you will enjoy fascinating interactive exhibitions. Thereafter, we head back towards the city, where I will show you the old town, Den Gamle By, and you will have time for lunch. Our last stop will be internationally renowned AROS Museum of Modern Art. Make sure to head to the rainbow circle interactive sculpture on the roof. After about a total of 8 hours in Aarhus, we catch the ferry back towards Copenhagen.
