I am everything but the ordinary local guide. I am 54 and still enjoy the beauty of showing my hometown Zadar, its county and Croatia to visitors. For 9 years I used to work as a radio dj and producer at a local radio station. I worked for 7 years as a journalist at HTV, National TV station in Zagreb. In 2004, I founded an organic family farm in the hinterland of Zadar. There I started producing organic fig, quince and marasca cherry jam known under the brand - SINJORINA. I drive a van for 7 persons and love driving my guests around to see the sights of this magical region. driver's licence motorboat licence freelance journalist the owner of organic family farm awarded organic jam producer under the brand 'sinjorina smokva' (figs, quince, marasca cherry, mandarin, etc) the founder and organizer of fig festival in zadar

guide was friendly, prompt and very respectful of our wishes. a great tour
Sandra is a warm, friendly and a very knowlegable guide. She is extremely engaging and the personification of why touring with a private guide is the best way to experience and learn about a new place. We had a lovely tour of Zadar. We walked through the old town, where we learned about the 9th and 12th century churchs and cathedrals. Sandra provided us with the history of these important sights. We strolled through the peoples' square and also took a look at St. Simon's church where Sandra explained the importance of the precious silver & gold chest containing the relics of St. Simon. Once we left the old town we headed to the waterfront where Sandra showed us some modern technological wonders. We saw the Monument to the Sun, a huge, blue glass disc in the paved surface programmed to reflect different colors as the sun sets. It would have been fun to see it in action. Sandra also showed us the amazing Sea Organ -- a perfectly designed system of openings in the paved surface and steps beside the sea that creates musical sound driven by the sea and the wind. Wow, these innovations were impressive! We had a great tour with Sandra learning and seeing many of the highlights of Zadar. We would highly recommend touring with Sandra!
Sandra was an excellent guide. Even though it was on a Sunday and most places were closed and churches were in use, our walking tour was very Interesting and informative. She shared her childhood experiences under Tito's rule which made it much easier to understand her country's history. We highly recommend her as a guide.
Sandra went over and above for us. Due to an unforeseen issue she was not able to provide the tour herself. She contacted a driver to pick us up at the port. Her friend who was also a tour guide provided us with the tour. She did an excellent job. The day was perfect thanks to Sandra.
Sandra was amazing! We loved the time we spent with her and we learned a great deal! She is most definitely a five star out of five!
We enjoyed our tour with Sandra while visiting Zadar. She has a warm personality and provided us with a nice history of the city. We felt her passion for the city she loves and it came across to us. We highly recommend a tour with her if ever visiting Zadar. Maria L and travel companions
