Plitvice Lakes Private Tour

Sandra is a wonderful warm, friendly and very knowledgable guide. We had a great adventure stopping at a beautiful renovated church from 2010 originally built in 879. It was in the charming town called Udbina.  Along the we way we stopped for lunch at a great local spot. The veal stew was amazing! As a special treat we visited the "pet" bear that lives nearby. He was really funny  and engaged with us through his fence. We made our way to Plitvice Lakes and the magnificent waterfalls. Sandra was so sensitive to our mobility issues. She knew how to get us close to view the falls without the  very long walk.  On the final leg of our trip on the way to Zagreb, we stopped for a coffee at a really charming village with its own waterfalls. We had a fantastic day with Sandra and Alan. They are kind and knowledgeable and generous. Plitivice is a gorgeous park, even in the pouring rain. We had a great walk among the lakes and waterfalls and loved being outdoors in this beautiful site. Sandra was thoughtful and provided little extras that added to our day. Sandra is an amazing person and guide! While communication was a bit slow, I'm glad I was patient and stuck with her. She turned out to be perfect for the tour! She showed us the beautiful falls of Krka, the city of Šibenik, and managed to fit in the sea organ before we had to board the ship. She not only did a great job of managing our time and sharing her knowledge of the area, but packed us sandwiches and took (and shared!) pictures of us. I would highly recommend her!
