Your Zadar tour itinerary
We start the tour at 5 Well Square, which the city resisted with water. Then I will take you to the first public park in Croatia where you'll have a view on the monumental Land Gate, a unique specimen on the E. coast of the Adriatic, recognized by UNESCO, as the City Walls of the 16th and 17th centuries. Nearby is the church of St. Simon, one of the patrons of Zadar, and his body is kept in a chest of 280 kg of silver and gold. We will walk through the main city artery - Kalelarga, which will take us to the City Square where the people of Zadar have been meeting since the 12th century. After that we'll stop at the ancient Forum and return more than 2000 years to the oldest part of the city - to the so called "open-air museum". At this place there is a 9th century church of St. Donatus. Than I will take you from the oldest part to the newest instalations Sea Organs and Greetings to the Sun -unique in the world!
