Zadar & Nin, shared history but not destiny, Walking Tour

We meet at the Sea Organ, and when their sounds charm you like modern version of the sirens from the Greek stories, I will propel you on to breathtaking voyage through over 2000 years of still visible history (and a 1000 more of the recorded). We will walk by a city market to introduce you to the local products. I will show you not only colors of the market, the smells you'll discover on your own (especially if the fish market is open), but I'll pick up some 'fritule' or 'krostule' (typical pastry snacks) at local bakery so you would not taste on the empty stomach Maraschino - local aperitif liquor. Than we will head to Nin, referred as Croatian Bethlehem, city of kings. There are stories revolving about our Kings that include vineyards and a beach. If you think of a pinch of salt is needed reading this, you will love Nin salt pans in which still the salt is produced same way like 3000 years ago. The very same salt, together with bura wind is key ingredient of 'sokol'. There are some fairies involved too ;

We meet at Sea organ in Zadar Old Town (other meeting points and pick-up service can be arranged). - Zadar Old Town Walking Tour takes about 2 hours, it includes exteriors of old churches, Roman Ruins and visit to City Market. -Before leaving Zadar we will taste fritule or krostule and cherry liquor Maraschino. -Ride to Nin last about 30 minutes, going through new neighbourhoods of Zadar and some villages -Nin Old Town Walking Tour takes about 1, 5 hours, maybe 2h if you wish to visit a local restaurant and taste local 'sokol' -driving back to Zadar offers a chance to taste the wine at Royal Wineyards The tour can easily be customized in regard of duration, number of guests, transportation or to exclude / include some other locations.
