While in Zadar, take a trip to the surrounding area and visit two World Heritage Sites: the Historical Complex of Split (with the Palace of Diocletian) and the town of Trogir. Starting with Trogir, you will have the pleasure of seeing an island that is a unique cultural monument and is considered one of the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic towns of Central Europe. Continue on to my hometown of Split and its most important sight: the Diocletian's Palace - a living palace, a blend of architecture with more than 1700 years of brilliant stories. Bring out the local narrow cobbled streets, the amazing sculptures, the cheerful green and fish market, with the daily hustle and bustle, and the vibrant local life. Today, the big city pulsates with the quiet whisper of the old times, the lively spirit of youth and the charm of the Mediterranean, but in every way also with Croatian warmth.
