Hello everyone, my name is Vines and I will be more than happy to welcome you in my hometown, the beautiful, historic city of Zadar ! Growing up in a small island community, tourism has always been a part of my life. I attended the University of Zadar and gained the bachelor degree in Culture and Tourism. Since finishing the university, I had been working in the tourism sector as a travel consultant and a tour leader on the tours around Croatia and the neighboring countries. For the past ten years I`ve been working exclusively as a local tourist guide and I am licensed to give tours in the Croatian Counties of Zadar and Sibenik-Knin. My passions are books and travelling, I am a huge bookworm and I like to consider myself to be a people person. In my free time I like to explore the local history and cook for my family. I volunteer as a secretary of the local tourist guides association and I enjoy organizing educational lectures and field trips for my colleagues tourist guides. The relationship between my hometown and I can be described as deep but complicated, I tried to live elsewhere in Croatia but Zadar has always been dragging me back and I am very proud to origin precisely from this part of my wonderful Homeland. Here, the Mediterranean lifestyle can be felt on every corner, it feels like the time had stopped and no one is in a hurry, small talks are important part of everyday interaction and tradition must be respected without questions. History can be immersed on every street and feels like every single stone here has its own story to tell. The mood of the locals often depends on the wind that has been currently blowing and on how good our basketball team has been playing recently. Food is something that definitely bonds people here, a good business deal nor a marriage can not be concluded without celebrating over a plate of lamb roasted on a spit and any meal in Zadar must not start without our famous aperitif locally know as pt. Only in Zadar and nowhere else in the world one can enjoy in a free concert every single day which has been preformed by the sea itself. Dear fellow travelers, join me on the tour if you would like to discover more about this very special city of mine and its stunning surroundings. I remain on your disposal for any questions you may have regarding my tours the itineraries of which can be adjusted and customized on your request. - People person - Foodie - History lover - Bachelor degree in Culture and Tourism - Licensed local tourist guide for Zadar and Sibenik-Knin County - Transportation provided in and air-conditioned vehicle with driver

The Magnificent Waterfall of Skradin has always been a place of special interest of all the travelers who were passing trough the Dalmatian Region of Croatia. It consists of travertine barriers, islands and lakes over which stands a boardwalk that leads all the visitors to a small wooden bridge located at the foot of the waterfall, to the place from where one can observe the waterfall in all its beauty and richness. By the bridge stands a boat pier from where it is possible to take a boat to a small town of Skradin and enjoy in wonderful river sceneries while cruising. Skradin is a place which simply abounds with history and the colorful facades of the main street are bursting with an irresistible Mediterranean charm. It is possible to adjust the itinerary of the tour in case you would like to have lunch in one of the local restaurants in Skradin or inside of the National Park.
