Your Rio De Janeiro tour itinerary
We’ll take the metro to the base of Rocinha, then continue by local public transportation to the top of the community. Our first stop is Novo Visual Bar, where you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Rio. From there, we’ll walk downhill through Rocinha’s lively alleyways, stopping at local bars, meeting residents, and experiencing the rhythm of everyday life. Along the way, we can also stop for lunch at a family-owned restaurant and enjoy authentic local food. This is a respectful cultural experience, not a poverty tour. Visitors are welcomed, and supporting local bars, restaurants, drivers, and small businesses helps generate income and opportunities within the community. We finish at the bottom of Rocinha, where I’ll guide you to a safe Uber pickup point. Return transportation is not included and must be arranged and paid for by each guest.
