Dzana was the perfect person to show us Sarajevo. She provided a customized tour that met our needs for frequent rest stops during the walking portion in Old Town, all the while telling us a great deal about the history of Sarajevo and about the culture. We experienced Bosnian coffee first hand, and learned about the social customs associated with it. We tasted a fabulous Bosnian pastry made from the shop owner’s family recipe. We saw shops and shoppers and learned about the role of various religions in Sarajevo’s history. She had much information and insight to share about those and also the ‘90’s war and shred what she and her family experienced first hand. In the driving portion of the tour we saw the city outside of Old Town, including Sniper’s Alley and the Tunnel of Hope and more. Her car was comfortable and roomy. Dzana kept teaching us about Sarajevo after we parted as she sent multiple recommendations for restaurants serving traditional Bosnian dishes. We highly recommend Dzana to guide you through the City of Sarajevo.
